How dog group walks can benefit you

How dog group walks can benefit you

Beyond exercise, these adventures provide crucial mental stimulation, enrichment, and decompression for your canine companion.

The result? A happier, more balanced dog at home. Once our walkers work their magic, you’ll likely notice a significant decrease in at home nuisance behaviours like digging, chewing and destroying furniture.

Unleash the full potential of your pup’s well-being with our expert-led group walks.

The process

The process

01 Book your call

We first chat with you to check your dog's suitability for group walks from our two options - Canine Adventures or Urban Adventures, as it should be safe and fun for all involved. If your dog isn't suitable for group walks, we can discuss our walk and train option instead.

02 Meet & Greet

We will then arrange time for a Meet & Greet with our walker to get to know you and your dog, as well as finalise access to your dog for their weekly adventure.

03 The adventures begin

Each week, on your scheduled walk day, your dog walkers will pick your dog up and take them on their adventure, before returning them home to you.

04 A happy, healthy dog

Your dog will come back with their doggy brains bursting with new scents and sights and with the added benefits of being a happy, content and sleepy pup.

The process

Our greyhound Brad wasn’t always on his best behaviour when meeting new people.

He’s a big boy (36kgs), so jumping up on people to say hello and give them a kiss wasn’t ideal (even if he was just being friendly). With Marianne’s help, Brad no longer jumps up on people and says hi with his best manners! We continue to seek Marianne’s advice and recommend her to anyone who loves their dog and needs a bit of help.

Choose from our Canine Adventures - up to 6 hours long - or our shorter Urban Adventures - up to 2 hours. Our our day training walks for individual dogs are 1 hour and best for dogs that are not suitable to walk with other dogs.
This involves taking your dog on walks in natural environments where they have the freedom to explore, sniff, and engage in their natural behaviours. These walks are designed to provide mental and emotional stimulation, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being.
As trainers first, we set up our experiences with your dogs behavioural health as our number one priority. We know that not all dogs are a good fit for walks, or doggy day care environments where there are too many dogs in too small a space for too long a day. Time and time again, we hear from dog walkers working for companies that have told their employer that there are dogs on the walk that are anxious, stressed and worried yet they are ignored. We make sure that your dog is a good fit before joining us, and if at any time the walks are not suitable, we will let you know and arrange for alternative options with training or individual walks.
Absolutely! Too many times we have seen dog’s just thrown into the back of the van with the other dogs on the walk, having to travel without any safety or tethering - this makes this an unnecessary and stressful event, filling your dogs bucket even before they arrive for their walk. Instead, we invested in ensuring your dog’s safety and security comes first and within the van itself have fitout custom built crates for each dog to travel individually and in comfort. This prevents them falling all over each other in the van and helping increase calm travel behaviour, saving the excitement and fun for during their adventures. They can then relax and snooze on the way home.
Our speciality is Canine Adventures which we recommend dogs only go once per week. For urban adventures, depending on their age, if you might choose to have your dog walked more than once per week, but best to speak to us about what the best fit is.
This might include signs of increased anxiety or stress during regular walks, excessive energy or restlessness at home, or a general lack of enthusiasm for outdoor activities. If you’re unsure, consulting with us can help determine if these walks are suitable for your dog.
We can get started right away if there is an available space in the walker’s week. Booking your initial meet and greet which is usually done within 1 week of booking, sometimes earlier. We only have spaces up to 40 dogs per week for Canine Adventures and Urban Adventures and 10 spaces per week for walk & train.
