Training your dog on your own can often feel overwhelming, especially when both you and your dog are trying to learn new skills simultaneously. It's like the blind leading the blind!
I loved him but honestly was questioning my decision to bring him into the family… We sought a combination of Walk and Trains for Squishy and 4 x education sessions (Mind Your Manners course) for me to be a better, more consistent fur-mum.
Amy (who did the walk and trains) is a dog whisperer and honestly Squishy became calm and so well behaved. We loved the results and Squishy enjoyed his time with Amy so much.
We still call on Pet Professor for walk and trains when I’m travelling with work because the team are reliable, trustworthy and so great with Squishy. Very frequently people comment on what a calm and lovely dog our Squishy is - and a large dose of credit we owe to Marianne and her team!
The initial session is held with both you and your dog and is a great opportunity for you to meet your trainer, go through specific information about your dog and design your training program.
We’ll work with your dog one-on-one through a customised training program tailored to address your specific needs. These sessions allow us to directly engage with your dog, enhance their training, reinforce important skills, and enrich their day.
Once we've worked our magic, you’ll likely notice a significant decrease in at-home nuisance behaviours and better behaviours in the home overall as the weeks progress. We can continue to help achieve any training goals that arise over time.
We strongly recommend that in addition to your weekly day training session, you also book private training sessions at least once or twice per month. This allows us to transfer the knowledge to you giving you the skill to continue to work with your dog so that you can see the results too.
Merlin is an adolescent dog and we felt we needed guidance on a bit more training. He was also pulling a lot on walks.
Marianne helped and guided us on how to get Merlin to be more focused on us when walking and he is now much easier to manage.
Merlin is much better trained and it’s more fun to walk him. He is super intelligent and loves learning new games. His recall is better and we feel much more confident knowing it is up to us to train him further as Marianne and her team have given us the tools.
Find out how we helped Ellen overcome her struggles with 40kg Labrador Lockie whose main goal in life was to eat cat poo and chicken bones on walks.
Those big ears were all the better for Slim to NOT listen to busy fur-mum Serena when on walks. Find out how our Walk and Train program helped regain focus and get disengagement on walks.
Pulling on lead and laying in wait for his next doggy 'victim' to be able to pounce on, Jenny called us for help with her boy Merlin.
